Fall is in the air

Even though the weather is warm again, fall is in the air. The leaves are already falling. I trimmed the lilac bush on Thursday. It was taller than the house and had taken over too much space, so it got a severe trim. I had two big cart fulls of branches that got put in the alley. Our neighbor across the street came over and said it looked very nice. Yesterday, we put out our Halloween decorations. They look great. Kurt went outside this morning and got scared by Dracula staring at him on the front porch. He said he almost screamed like a girl. I bet that was funny. Today, we are going to church and then out to brunch with Caroline. This afternoon, we may take the dogs to the river.
