Big Lunch

We got to Caroline's around noon yesterday for Christmas dinner. I brought a macaroni salad and sugar cookies. Caroline made baked pork chops, stuffing, bbq'd green beans, hash brown casserole, coleslaw, and an old family recipe that looks like bread pudding with raisins.

We ate, and ate, and ate, and then sat around playing Canasta. We also had fun with the dust collecting gifts. Kurt made up the rules. First we each picked a gift in order of our birthdays but couldn't open it. The second round, we went in order of our middle names and could steal anyone's gift without knowing what was inside the package. It was fun and we really had a good time even though the gifts weren't all the wonderful.

It looks like we will be having a wonderful week. Possibly all of the snow will be gone by the end of this week. We should have beautiful green grass with all of the moisture.
