Home Sweet Home

We got up and hit the road at 6:00am this morning. It was a long trip, as we had rain most of the way. Kurt drove, then I took over, and then he finished up the trip. We were both too tired to drive the whole way, so we took turns. Yesterday we toured downtown historic Branson and then went to Branson Landing for a late afternoon pizza cruise on an old paddleboat. It was fun to go on the boat ride. We got to see a bald eagle, several other types of birds, otters, and a bunch of deer. The captain pointed out several of the rich peoples' homes in Branson. The pizza was ok. Kurt limboed with a few other participants. After we got back to the Landing, we had ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. Then back to the Angel Inn for an early night's sleep. Benji and Bailey got to stay home as one of our neighbors agreed to watch them while we were gone. It was good to get home to them, as we miss them so much when we are away.
