Dodged the storm

It appears that the storm is not going to be as bad as was originally predicted. We had approximately 5-6 inches that fell yesterday. We had some ice, just enough to make it slick. Now the winds have picked up. I got woken up by the wind howling between our house and our neighbor's house. The snow isn't drifting much because of the ice, so that is good. We will probably get more snow, but this is a lot better than getting another 14 inches that was predicted. The snow from before was just getting melted enough that you could see the tops of my Christmas decorations outside. We probably won't be able to get them put away until Easter this year.
