Nice Fall Weather

We have been enjoying the warm weather that is hanging around. On Friday, I had the afternoon off after working 55 hours this week. I spent the afternoon catching up on chores around the house, so Kurt and I would be able to enjoy a nice weekend.

We got up early yesterday and went shopping at Walmart and HyVee. We were done with both by 7:00. We came home and baked an apple pie and then went to lunch with both moms. We played Canasta with them and shared our pie and ice cream.

Not sure what we are going to do today, but we may go the river with fried chicken for a picnic. Hope you are enjoying your weekend too!
