Babysitting Buster
This weekend, our neighbors are gone to Colorado, so we are watching their dog, Buster. For some of you that don't know, Kurt and I used to have a dalmatian named Buster when we first got married. He died from cancer when he was just 2 years old. Our neighbor asked us a few years ago when he got the yellow lab puppy if it would be alright to name him Buster. We said yes, and so our neighbor's dog has always been a little special to us. He comes over for pets if he sees us in the front yard. Sometimes he brings toys for us to throw for him. He is such a big baby. Hopefully, he will eat and play for us over the weekend.
Yesterday we beat a record for the high temperature set in 1936. It got to 90°F and is now 68° F at 4:30am. The hot weather looks like it will last through the weekend and we will enjoy it.
