Traumatic day for the kids

Benji and Bailey had a dramatic, traumatizing day. They turn 6 years old in November, and have never been to the dog groomer. Well today that changed. They got a bath, their hair cut, nails clipped, and had bandannas tied around their necks. They sure look and smell nice. We had it done to see if it helps with less fur balls floating around the house.

We have been really busy. The McElroy dude came on Monday, and forgot to turn the gas back on when he left so we were cold for awhile. We had him come back and fix the problem. Yesterday, we went to the eye doctor and worked on projects around here. Kurt is getting new glasses and I still have good enough vision that I don't need glasses yet. Today, we ran some errands and then out to the farm to winterize the camper and check the antifreeze in the tractors and pick-up. The vent cover on the camper got broken sometime this summer, so we replaced that today. Tomorrow, I am going to school in the morning and Kurt is going to Caroline's for awhile. We may head to Lincoln or Omaha this weekend for a little relaxation.
