Friday afternoons

This summer, my company decided that the offices would close at noon. I really am enjoying those afternoons off. Yesterday Kurt was off the whole day, so we had a nice afternoon together. We went to the mall and just walked around to get some exercise. We didn't go into any stores, just walked through and had a nice chat. Then we came home and went swimming in our pool. The weather was nice and warm, so it was a good day for swimming. At 4:30, we came in to watch Jeopardy. Then we went downtown to the Ethnic Festival. The number and quality of food vendors seemed to go down again this year, so we ate supper at the Chicken Coop.
