Kurt's vacation

Last week was really busy with Kurt home on vacation. We refinished two pieces of furniture, by sanding, staining, and sealing them. On Friday, we did some chores for Caroline and drove to Wilcox to buy a used camper. It is a 1969 13' Avalon travel trailer. It is very small, but will work well for us at the river. Hopefully, we can use it a lot this summer. On Saturday, we stocked the trailer and took it to the farm for storage. Memorial Day weekend, we will move the trailer to the river and leave it there for a few weeks of off and on fishing with Mike. We will need to get our fix for fishing while there is still some water in the river. It looks like the river is lower than normal, so that isn't good. On Sunday, we talked to my mom on the phone and then had Caroline and Mike over for the afternoon. We ate lunch and then played Canasta. This morning, Kurt went back to work so things should slow down again.
