Sunday drive

Yesterday was a beautiful day, so we made breakfast and then set out for a road trip in the convertible. We drove to Sutton to look at a Chevy Blazer. The picture and ad we saw about the Blazer was deceiving, so we decided not to buy it. We then headed up Hwy 14 to go to the farm as we were looking for some things in the hog shed. We drove through Aurora on Hwy 34 and I spotted a 1996 Jeep Cherokee for sale on a used car lot. We pulled in and looked at the Jeep, then we called the dealer at home to see if we could test drive it. He said he would be right down and let us drive it. We took it out of town and really liked how it drove and the 4 wheel drive worked well. We took it back and negotiated with the salesman. We settled on a price and told him, we would bring him the money this morning. In talking with the salesman, we found out he used to go to car auctions with Grandpa Regier when Grandpa used to sell cars in Henderson. It is such a small world.
