Hot night for a picnic

Tonight we are going to the river for a picnic with Larry and his wife, Caroline, and Mike. Caroline is providing steaks and Larry is going to cook them. I made a corn salad and will take a watermelon. It is 95° and the temperature is still rising.

The rest of the weekend is going to be just as hot with the high humidity, so we are planning on staying inside as much as possible. I will work on my school work. So far, I am doing well and staying ahead of the teacher. The class is going well, but I am not looking forward to the remaining speeches we have to deliver.
