More rain

Yesterday afternoon, Kurt and I went to visit our neighbor, Bernadine. She will be 84 next month, but acts like she is a lot younger. She is quite into electronics thanks to her son and grandsons. She has a Mac pc with four webcams going at one time. One is a view of her son's living room, one looks into the radio station booth where he works, and the other two are webcams of radar. We saw a storm was headed our way, so we came home quickly. We heard that Shelton was getting baseball sized hail, so we worried. The hail didn't make it here, but the rain did. We got another 1 1/2 inches during the next hour. Then overnight, we had more rain. Kurt said we had almost another 2 inches this morning when he checked the gauge. That makes almost 5 inches in 36 hours. It seems we don't get rain, and then get it all at one time.

Today, we are going to a Pampered Chef party at Laura Schuster's house. Kurt is going with me as my guest, because he loves these types of parties. He will probably be the only guy, but it doesn't bother him. We are also going to buy some items for the Jeep. Kurt thinks we need a tow rope. I asked him, just what does he think he is going to be doing in MY JEEP. Have a good weekend!
