More grillin' ideas
Last night, Larry made appetizers for us. He stuffed jalepenos with shrimp, and then wrapped bacon around the jalepenos. He grilled them and then served them with sour cream. They were so good that Kurt ate several of them. When we were first married he wouldn't even touch anything spicy, but now he eats jalepenos that still have some seeds in them.
Tonight for supper, we decided we wanted jalepeno stuffed shrimp appetizers again. We decided to change the recipe up a little bit. We made jalepeno bacon wrapped shrimp, green pepper bacon wrapped shrimp, and onion bacon wrapped shrimp. Then we grilled them and had quite a feast.
I only got one of the jalepeno shrimp, as Kurt put the rest on his plate quickly. The green pepper shrimp were our next favorite, with the onion shrimp coming in last place. Next time, we are going to try to add pineapple to the jalepeno bacon wrapped shrimp. I will let you know how it tastes after we try it.
Today was warm, so we didn't run many errands. We just went to Skagway and Walmart. This afternoon we swam for a while and then played pool in the basement. Tomorrow will be hot again, so we plan on playing our weekly game of Chuck-O early and then swimming in the afternoon.
