Sneaky Snake

We have a snake that has been sighted several times, but we haven't been able to get him yet. Yesterday, he played cat and mouse with us. As soon as he hears the door open, he goes under the fence into Bernardine's yard. Hopefully, we can get him soon, as I don't enjoy seeing him slither around.

The weekend is going quickly, as it normally does. Yesterday, we ran errands and visited with Caroline. Then we came home and watched tv during the evening. Today, we are going to church and then out to eat lunch with Wendell and LaVerna. This afternoon, Kurt wants to get some ice cream, but we don't know where we are going to get it. He has seen commercials for ice cream treats at Sonic, Dairy Queen, and Baskin Robbins. Plus he likes to go to Kokonut Joe's and Cold Stone. I am guessing we will end up at Kokonut Joe's, and the ice cream will be our supper. The portions are really large there. I always order a small and Kurt has to finish half of it for me. If we have time and it isn't raining, we may try to fly our kites again today. We wanted to yesterday, but ran out of time.

In two weeks, we will be in Texas for our vacation. We are flying into San Antonio and then driving to the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston. They had a shooting there last week and that is where the crazy astronaut, that drove to Orlando with adult diapers on to kidnap her boyfriend's other girlfriend, was stationed. I told Kurt that the gift shop probably has a clearance table for its adult diapers and hand guns. We will spend a couple of days in Houston/Galveston, and then a few days on the beach at Corpus Christi, and the last day at San Antonio. We can hardly wait for our trip.
