Staying Home

This weekend, Kurt wanted to go to the State Fair. I wanted to stay home and I got my way. We had a nice leisurely day yesterday, just running our errands and coming home to play with the dogs. We also got rid of our old couch and love seat. We were needing to haul them away, but I wasn't able to lift them, so we were waiting to find someone who could help Kurt. He talked with a neighbor yesterday and the neighbor knew of someone that was in need of furniture. The couple came over and got the furniture and hauled it away. I was sad of course, because I loved that furniture and it was the first pieces of new furniture we bought together.
