Life on Padre Island

We drove to Corpus Christi and found out our Holiday Inn wasn't in the best of neighborhoods. Therefore, we cancelled the rest of our days there and booked a Holiday Inn on North Padre Island. The hotel is right on the beach and we can see the water from our window. We have taken a few walks on the beach today and it is very relaxing and peaceful. We watched some surfers tonight, but the waves weren't that great for them to surf for very long. Today we went to the USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium. They had a really nice dolphin show, so no need to go to Sea World in San Antonio. Tomorrow, we are going to ride horses along the beach and take a tour of the gulf via boat. We still have the car with the hole in the back bumper. Hopefully, we won't have trouble when we return it.
